This glossary documents key concepts, systems, and structures of Xhor’vyn. It is not a belief system — it is a record.
Terms listed here are used across broadcasts, logs, and personal accounts. Meanings may evolve, but their resonance remains.
The primary unit of perceived time in Xhor’vyn. A cycle is not measured in hours, but in experiential phases. One cycle roughly corresponds to a human day, but is never spoken of numerically.
Early cycle phase. Characterized by warmth, preparation, and low ambient noise. Often associated with waking states and structural activity.
Mid-cycle phase. Trade, movement, broadcasts, and social interaction peak here. Most FM 72.74 live segments occur during Ash Flow.
Late-cycle slowdown. Noise reduces, movement becomes intentional. Emotional processing is strongest during this phase.
Pre-rest phase. Long shadows, low resonance, stable rune fields. FM 72.74 often shifts to ambient or instrumental content.
The innermost cycle phase. No official broadcasts occur. Automated systems may remain active, but conscious intervention is rare.
A symbolic structure that binds intention, memory, and energy. Runes do not create power — they stabilize it.
A personal rune bound to a being’s existence. In Fynx’s case, it prevents soul fragmentation and anchors judgment.
The emotional response a rune exhibits when its bearer is affected. Changes in glow, warmth, or vibration indicate imbalance.
A volatile rune type used in movement, concealment, or message transfer. Vhrix’s existence is partially sustained by unstable shadow runes.
Occurs when multiple rune fields overlap without synchronization. Often responsible for signal glitches or auditory echoes on FM 72.74.
No action exists without consequence. Judgment must always be weighed against intent, memory, and will.
Some truths cannot be spoken without destabilizing the listener. Silence is not absence — it is containment.
Power responds to emotional coherence, not volume. Forced authority is inherently unstable.
A destroyed soul cannot be restored. This law governs Kuschel’s final actions and cannot be overridden.
Xhor’vyn does not exist to rule other realms. Influence without consent is considered corruption.
